Went to the Gun Show in Syracuse over the weekend can't believe the turnout,we had to part down by the midway at the fairgrounds, everyone is nervous, even Iam worried with the lefts attack on shows I want my son to be able to experience going to one (he was home from college). I bought a Mosin Nagat still in cosmoline for a buck nineteen.I don't know how the left can claim you can just walk into these shows and buy a gun,I had to wait 20 mins for the backround check before I was cleared,a guy at the same table was put on standbuy meaning that he had to wait 5 days while they dug deeper so he couldn't walk out with any guns, funny you don't hear about that on 20/20 or CNN. :pot:

Of course not. The shows are starting again in my area. Last one I went to was in February. Seems as though the prices are now in line with the big shops, and sometimes even worse, at least for handguns, EBR's.... Hunting items are a little bit more competitive.

Ammo is difficult to get here now. Some stores only sell ammo IF you buy a gun that it matches up with at the same time.

Good thing I have a nice little stockpile.

I used to work with a guy that claimed to have oer 10,000 rounds stockpiled. People can talk but I worked with him for years and a few people had been to his home and said the claim was pretty accurate, maybe understated.

Yeah I got into it with the guy at wal mart, went in to buy some 45 ACP and he wanted to see my pistol permit,I told him that I wasn't aware of any law requiring that,he said it was store policy to which I replied that some rifles like my friends 44 mag Ruger take pistol ammo, finally one of the older employees told him to go ahead and sell it to me.

On one occasion I purchased some .22LR ammo at a local Walmart within the past year and when I was about to pay for it, the woman behind the counter asked "is this for a rifle or a handgun?" (She wasn't asking because she was a gun enthusiast)...... I then said why do you ask? She replied that it was store policy to ask. I said, well it's not my policy to answer such a question besides it's none of the store's business. She rang up the sale, I paid, and left.

Here's some of mine....... And yes, they're mostly full of various calibers. A few have magazines for my pistols.
