Hello, I am an automotive engineer and have been interested in (and owned) many types of performance, muscle and sports cars since the mid-'60's. Cars owned previously: 1968 Camaro Z/28, 1967 Corvette 327/350, 1967 Corvette 427/390, 1969 Dart GT, 1987 Honda CRXSi, 1984 Honda Prelude, 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo, 1989 Porsche 911 Turbo, 2000 Camaro Z/28, 1993 Mustang Cobra. Considering a 1969 RoadRunner now.....

I think that adding a Road Runner to your impressive list of high performance cars would be a great way to top the list. Welcome to the site and keep us updated. ;)

Hey, thanks for the warm welcome folks! Forgot to mention another car owned previously: an ERA Cobra (552 hp / 553 lbs-ft / 2600 lbs). Not sure how I forgot this one; it took me 10 years to complete the build, and get it on the road....

Anyway, I'm in the delicate stages of learning about my prospective RR purchase, negotiating, etc., and am reluctant to post too much on an open forum.

I spent a lot of time researching the info I have about the car on this site, but still have a couple of questions for the experts. I'm well-seasoned at this with GM / Chevy stuff, but am a rank beginner with MoPars. The RR is nothing really special....a pretty basic RM21, E63, D21 with a few other options...., I just want to make sure of its pedigree. At this time I cannot afford to make a mistake and overpay.

So, if anyone's willing to help, please PM me. Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Fred

Welcome from Alberta, Canada. Very impressive list of prior performance garage warmers - I hope you find the right road runner to grace your driveway.
