There will be many questions. :drive: :drive:

The engine rebuilt less then 200 miles ago as well as the trans. New heavy duty clutch. Don't know much about the engine but it has a .509 cam. Don't know the brand. It has a 650 Demon carb, intake stock, exhaust manifolds stock, pipes and muffler all original.

Recommends new headlight bezel and grill. Says it cost more to refinish then to buy new. Thoughts please and where would I find new ones, Year One?

Dash is 100 percent complete. The upper part of the doors are black, the metal part above the door panels. He said they should be black because its an early 69 and most will say it should be gray.

Will need a complete seal kit because half of the seals are off and I'll take the rest off before painting. Again, Year One?

Need the door window guides so I can remove the old ones before painting.

Also I need the most important part :beep:

Just getting started.

Thank you,
Barry

The color of the door metal was an option the fender tag will show the color. If the tag is missing we can tell by pulling the door panel and how its painted or repainted. The grill is made by one company just shop for the best price, its about $1500 to have one redone. If the anodized silver is in good shape they can be repainted.

Most of the time when anyone mentions a ".509" cam they are referring to the MoPar Performance hydraulic camshaft with that particular lift. I'd be stunned if it was any other brand.

YO has a lot of stuff. But they have a lot of overpriced stuff. If you manage to order while they are running a sale or offer a discount coupon then that just about brings them back in line with everybody else's pricing. I always just shop around. You'll get your best deals from the manufacturers/distributors at the shows. They've gone to considerable expense to haul the stuff there and they don't want to cart it back to the warehouse. I don't buy anything from YO unless I absolutely have to... :cents:

Does your car have a fender tag? If so post a pic of it or just give us the codes. We'll you how it was originally equipped all at one shot rather than piece-mealing it. X2 on what Bob said about the X9 (black) uppers on the doors and the situation on the grill.

As for the :beep: the correct ones have the long bracket on them. Watch out for the repops with the shortie mount.

I can read one whole line of the fender tag but the line with the color has been eaten away by battery acid. When I get the car down here, I'll post the numbers, but it is rather limited.

There are no door panels. All the metal front and back side panels are black. I like the silver/gray better. I like the contrast.

Thanks for the advice,
Barry

The rear panel, upper and lower door came in every color that you could put on the outside of the car. So the sky is the limit. I had a friend paint them the same as the car and it looked really good. It sounds as if yours were black but we will wait on the tag.

Another thing abouit year one when they have the discount codes you are really just getting the part for the correct cost but,the real rip-off is there shipping costs skyhigh.

To many other venders out there with the same parts as year one and at alot less $$$.
