Guys I'm running electronic ignition but I can't identify the make / model. Put on
around 15 or so years ago. The cap looks like a standard size / shape mopar cap.
Didn't pull it off.

Are these things basically universal or am I going to have a bear of a time getting
a cap and rotor for it? A few guys I know said it shouldn't be too much of an ordeal
just figured I'd run it by some of you.

I'm using a Pertronics II in 2 of my cars. They come with their own rotors and use the stock caps. The rotor fit was not a problem with the stock cap.

It depends on which ignition it has. If its a Mopar electronic stock cap and rotor, anything else wont be.

or shit can it and buy/install MSD :D
I like it George.

I wish they offered an E-Curve for the BBM. I'd buy one, figure out a way to put a tan cap on it, paint the housing in a black wrinkle finish, and presto-chango! Bambi's new and improved Prestolite distributor...
