Ok, I hope even with the economy that some of you have some ideas on what my car is worth. It's a numbers matching, 383HP, 4 speed car that I purchased this year from the original owner. Rust free, but owner did a few things to the car that I suspect would decrease the value. He and his son dismantled it, but the thing I didn't like was, he cut out a small area for wider tires, and cut the fender lip some, but kept the inside parts he cut out, so they can be welded back in, no problem. He also changed the rear end to an "A body" and mounted a sub frame underneath the car for he took it to the drags at one time with wrinkle tires. The car otherwise is strieght as an arrow, and came with a very large "assembly book" to put it all back together. The original engine has 906 heads and a aluminum intake, but no great carb, just a run of the mill holley that probably needs rebuilding. The guy told me the original engine had about 30K on a rebuild, but don't know for sure. I just finished a 67 mustang restoration and pulled the RR into my shop maybe for a winter project, but might sell it, just dont know for sure. Floors are beautiful, no rust whatsoever, and the trunk has a 8X8 inch hole cut into it for a fuel cell. Needs a replacement tank of course. Comes with original steel wheels, and caps. What do you think? He told me the tranny has been rebuilt and it and the engine still have most of the factory teal paint. Thanks for your help/advise. Jerry

Welcome aboard, Jerry. Here are two things for you to do:

1) Pop over to the intro section and start a new thread there. Tell us a little bit about yourself. We ask this of all new members.
2) Post some pictures of the car in question. Very difficult for any of us to assist with your request without the benefit of viual aids.

Sounds like an interesting project - too bad they hacked up the wheelwells...
