So I got rid of the other project so just now getting back at the roadrunner. First thing I noticed is that the original bumper I had rechromed for a lot of money is corroding. The whole thing. Has never even seen water. And I have a wire on the front light harness that I can’t find on the schematic. Anyone know what this is for? Is in the light harness.

Who in the world did your bumper Jack? Looks like the wire to the brake distribution block.

I hear they went out of business. You don't have pool acid stored near the car do you?

Nothing near the car that would have caused that. So I guess I buy a reproduction bumper. I have an AMD on the front and it is pretty nice. And not corroded.

Dust collected on the bumper collects moisture from the air and just sits there and there begins the problem. This is especially true if the car is not covered and wiped down after each use.
