went out to a couple of cruises with my friend rick. he has a great 1970 v code bee. first couple of pics are from the pautler drive cruise and the last are at the quaker steak and lube cruise. found this car there and thought it was amazing. Q5 RR with tan interior. had the california emmisions on it. even has the original paint on it. so i took a pic of the decal and let the chips fall where they may.

Nice pics Mac! I can't say I'e seen a bird with that Cali smog stuff on it. And I'd say that decal is a little low.

I remember finding a Q5 RR on e-bay last year that had the tan interior. I thought it was really cool. Most of you guys trashed it... Neat looking old bird as far as I'm concerned...

Nice pics. I like that bronze A12. Q5 is really nice. Like Steve said decal a little low but, not much. Maybe 1/32" or so. Really close. I would give it a pass. Thanks for the pics.

Dual snorkel air cleaner, turn down exhaust without tips, and PCV valve. I thought that was the extent of the Cal emisions for 69. What else is there?

that Q5 RR was in the survivor tent at this years Carlisle show. Spent a few min with the owner talking and took a bunch on interior pics as reference for this winters projects....
