Car is here, but some concerns

Engine has what sounds like a valve knock. Rebuilt engine. Mopar 509 cam and lifters.

Clutch makes a tumbling noise like its a bad throw out bearing

Piece missing from the front window trim. Others may not be usable.

Gas gauge doesn't work. I filled the tank. All gauges were suppose to work.

Speedometer works to about 55, then goes squirrely.

Seems like most interior pieces are there, but unusable. No door panels but that I knew.

Some of this stuff is minor, but things I had counted on already being done.

Lucky for me my new friends here on 69roadrunner.net are eager to give me help and advice. :worship:

On the gas gauge check to make sure you have a ground.

metal strap clamped to the sending unit nipple and tank nipple.

Spedo cable may just need lubed.

National delivered the car. Worked out great.

second on oiling the speedo cable.
my engine had a sound like that when I got it. several of the lifters were weak.
