she don't look so bad from here...what's your query?
LOL.......I was just making a comment about his wiper adjustment from another thread. Sorry, I know everyone doesn't get my warped sense of humor.
Ha ha ha! Droptop, when I saw your post I lmao! I get your humor, and I like it! (Btw, I still wasn't able to fix it. I figured I should stop before I beat it with a hammer!)
Thanks everyone! Sorry, I don't really have a query, I was just excited about getting the car out of the garage for the winter and getting it cleaned up! The car's a 20 footer and NOT a numbers car. Looks great from far away, but there is a lot that needs to be done to it. Has an old 440 out of a motor home, a little rust here and there (a ton of rust under the vinyl top, which makes me cringe), some bad bondo work, and has what I believe the standard 727 on the column and a TON of tiny things that need to be addressed. Also, it doesn't run all that great, bogs down off the line and almost stalls. Has a Holley 570 Street Avenger carb on an Edelbrock Performer manifold which I would think the carb would be too small for the engine (I don't know a lot tho), but is running rich and gas is dumping onto the manifold when I start it, which makes me think its getting TOO much fuel.
So I think this year I'm going to address the carb problem, drive it and enjoy it and turn some heads (I love the attention it gets). I figured before I make any big decisions on what I'd like to do with it I'd hit some car shows, meet some other contacts, and look at other peoples cars, and get some ideas. Right now I have several different ideas how I'd like to move forward with it, but they are constantly changing. I don't see myself ever selling the car so I will probably keep it looking stock on the interior and exterior (besides wheels maybe) and make the braking, suspension, engine and driveline and rear end a little more modern.
If it was a numbers car I'd make it like Bob's!:worship:
