Braided Radiator Hose?

Hey guys, was thinking of installing braided/chrome upper and lower radiator hoses on my car. What do you guys think of it? I currently have the regular black hose and wouldn't mind dressing up the engine a bit more, but only if it's good/strong stuff.

A little bling never hurt anything as long as you don't have heat issues. I know it doesn't sound like it would help much but down here in the desert you don't want anything that might retain heat if your car runs on the warm side. A radiator hose does transfer a little heat.

my car had those when I bought it. one of the first things I removed. along with the leaky chrome t stat housing. But if you like that look, do it!

Think I'm going to stick with the plain rubber hose. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I'm definatily a Day Two guy, just never cared for the braided hose.
