I googled the original owner of my 69 Roadrunner and found that he resides/resided in Newland NC.
anyone live near Newland NC?

it's him!! he's gonna call me after work to talk...hopefully he has some left over paperwork or some cool stories. he said he sold it in 2006

he was in the pilot in the Navy in California...got out of OCS and ordered the car. he added the power steering, and a bigger radiator (3 core vs. 2 core). everything else was redone by him before he sold it in 06. original body panels and drivetrain, he said he had the build sheet but it was in poor condition...pretty sure its lost. Anyway we talked for about 45 min. he had the interior recovered in the 80's in Tijuana. I am the 3rd owner gonna reach out to the 2nd owner over the weekend and hope for more info. 6k miles in 10 yrs
he told me the odometer rolled over 2x...car has over 200k on it lol

Yeah...the original owner is 69 now...I can tell in his voice/texts that he has been revitalized, like finding an old buddy that's been gone too long. I should offer to sell it back to him lol.
