changing my ac clutch, compressor and expansion valve. i meant to order the drier but forgot. anyone thinking it would be a mistake to not change it? my initial thought was "since i am replacing some of the parts, why not change all that I can"?

money is an issue, but not enough to keep putting up with my 2 80 ac unit.

damn, it is hot down here!!!

yep. This time of the year if you opened up the system it's probably junk now anyway after it soaked up all of that humidity...at least it would be around here...

Kind of funny to hear that side of it. Around here your concerned about the trash from the compressor getting into it. Whats humidity
