Does anyone know if the air cleaner/carb will fit under a 6 pack hood? Hope I don't have clearance issues.

Nice looking engine and pup, JJRJR!

Bob - I told you that your "best behavior" BS would be out the window in 2 or 3 days... Well, you proved me wrong. You made it like 5 days... :basketcase:

Penn State???!!!

Thanks guys. Just paid a visit to the engine guy and the body guy. Waiting on oil pan. He got PRW I think it's called rocker arms and he said he didn't like the way they felt, so ordered the rockers from Comp Cams. He said they are a bit more $$ but one of the best in the business. He has the math for me next week on the 10:1 CR, said he had to mill the heads down a tad. He said something like "the head gasket is about the same size as the bore, which is great." NO clue what that means, but he seemed to like it. LOL.

Gonna use some pretty braided black fuel hose lines for the Holley Double Pumper. He's also gonna look into getting me a deal on a heavy duty clutch/flywheel kit from Centerforce or McLoed I think it is.

Body is getting there, all the little rust spots are taking lots off time to fix, but he says he wants someone to look under the car when he's done and say "this was done right." All good news, just more time and money. All the new harnesses came in, man they ain't cheap!! But it will all be new. Torque boxes and frame connnectors look great, he cleaned up the welds, etc.

Easy another 5 months or so until she's ready. Slow and steady wins the race.

More to come. . .

Thanks again for all the help during this restoration!!

John
