This abused stray followed us home yesterday.
It has some issues but overall it is quite the eye catcher.
So far it is getting along with its new stable mates.
I hope the others don't get jealous as this one will be getting some extra attention. (trans isnt working in any gear)

the shrot story of the details so far

Its a small block car that has a later 360 that sounds like a beast. I dont have any specs on the build but I think it may have some sort of Mopar purple cam from the lopety-lope coming through the headers and flow masters.
I spent the whole day sunday going up aown in out and around the new beast we have dubbed "ol Yeller".
First thing that needed to be yanked out was the aftermarket stereo that had been installed by a dash and wire harness butcher. Its outta there!
Then I repaired the nuetral safety switch and got it to start with the key instead of the push button that the previous owner had cobbled together and had lying on the floor with no in line fuse, no isulation or tape on the connection poles. Its outta there!
The 904 trans gets park okay but wont move in any gear. Yes I checked to see if it was low on fluid and found out that from the fluid 2" above the full line that the previous owner had tried that also.
It came with an extra 904 that I was told was the original from the car and that it was good. Sure right? The missus and I put it up onto an engine stand and she is going to drain and clean the mung off of it today while I am at work so it be inspected for chunks in the pan and hopefully just have the soft parts and bushings replaced before being swapped in this weekend.
Then there is the issue with the "WHOA!!!" pedal that seems a bit spongey for my liking. Even with manual drums I am used to a firm pedal. All of the wheel spin with very little resistance so I think some adjustment and a system bleed at a minimum will be needed after a peek inside of each drum to see what kind of meat if any is left on the shoes.
I am pretty sure this will be a fun car to cruise around once we get it moving and stopping under its own power.
