69 4spd wood shifter ball restoration?

Does anyone recondition the shifter balls? my original one is smooth, you don't see any grain anymore and the shift pattern is worn as well.

here is one, i am actually using the hurst white ball now, which I prefer. My car is original, but I am going kind of "day 2-esque"...I think I will just keep the original, patina and all.

Hey Djais. Think I would check with an air bush painter or some one of that sort. I see them do a lot of ting's now day's with plastic rap's. Some one can do custom paint or have maybe some good idea's on what you can do. Just thought this might be an option for you. Well got to run hope you the best.

Check with one of the guys that restore the wood grain wheels.... But I'll bet the repop will be a lot cheaper and probably better when all is said and done.
