General Description
Ember Gold (J1) Hemi Road Runner (J Code) build on November 6, 1967 and sold to original owner on November 13, 1967 at Interstate Motors in Bristol, TN. Purchased the car in January 2018 from prior owner who had it almost 20 years. One of the prior owners has documented all owner titles and some other ownership documentation for each owner including copy of MSO from Chrysler Corp to interstate motors to allow the car to be titled. Its rear end gears are over 4:1 ratio so it runs up considerable RPM even at highway speeds. I have read in blogs that the low speed rear causes one to get passed by lowly modern cars on the open road.
I hope to keep it in as good a condition as it is now. Underside is painted to match body color.
