    Leaf spring bushings!

Who can tell me what the diameter of the eye in the rear leaf springs mounts is supposed to be? Mine have been replaced on my 69 RR some time ago, and I’m not sure if they are correct because the 1” bushings go all the way in. No sleeves provided in the kit I have, but would those sleeves...

    Wheel hop!

I do have the original one on there. My buddy let me borrow an adjustable one that he shaved so I’d have 1” clearance. It worked great to eliminate the hop, I just don’t like it hitting the floor during normal street driving.

    Wheel hop!

Breaker, breaker-over! I hope the new leaf springs solve my issue. I just replaced the shocks with KYB, but I guess I’ll move to coil overs next if the springs don’t fix it? I’m missing rear crossmember reinforcement pieces, under the bumper brackets. I hope those aren’t a factor in this.

    Wheel hop!

I’ve changed the shock absorbers, I guess I’ll go down the list and change the leaf springs next. It has stock 5 leaf, for it’s original 383; but it’s got a 440 now, so I’m going with the 440/hemi springs with the 6 and 7 leaves.

Morning Y’all! Before I get into details of my specific situation, what may be some causes for some pretty severe wheel hop? I’d like to have some uninfluenced thoughts before I divulge the conditions of my setup. Thanks!!!

    Backspaceballs, the wheel!

Thanks everyone! I was about to pull the trigger on some 15x7 and 15x8 steelies from wheel vintiques to go with my original dog dishes, but now I’m reading that people are commenting the original caps won’t fit on the Wheel Vintiques steelies. Wtf?! Anyone have any experience with putting old...

    Backspaceballs, the wheel!

That sounds about right; too much work for a just a little more tire. I thinking tubbing it only makes sense if you’re gonna drag it. Thanks!

    Backspaceballs, the wheel!

This is exactly the info I was looking for, thanks!!! How’s it look? I’m guessing BADASS!!! 275 isn’t too wide for the 8” wheel? Do you think 70’s would be too tall for the front, or is there more than 10mil clearance? Cheers!

    Backspaceballs, the wheel!

Hey birds of a feather! I’m going to upgrade from 14” wheels to 15” wheels, steelies with dog dish, and blackwall tires. I’m going to buy new, so how do I know what backspace to get? 4” vs 4.5”. ??? I’m looking at 15x7 in the front and 15x8 in the rear. I’d like some fat tires on the back...
