I have this piece from a 70 440-4 GTX & no longer want to keep it. It's an original base in near perfect shape (has 1 small ding in lip, can be seen in 3rd pic, easily fixed) just needs to be glass beaded & painted to be a very nice piece.
I figure someone might be needing it more than me...
I have an Air Grabber base plate from a 70 GTX that I'm going to blast & re-paint. I know it's black, but is there a certain paint I'm supposed to use to do it correctly & where would I find it? I've used Herb's Parts paint before & was very happy with it, but I don't see this particular paint...
I have a set from a 70 R.R. (should be the same as a 69) but they are the whole assemblies, backing plates, bearings, hubs & such. I am keeping them in my basement for a friend & they are in good shape. I am in Pa. zip code 19030. I can find out if he wants to sell any of it & get pics if you're...
Not right now. It used to be my car & I sold it to a good friend 10 years ago, but it never had the hood stripe on it even when I owned it, & I bought it from the family who bought it brand new. It's Vitamin C orange w/burnt orange interior, but otherwise a 383 4speed R.R., bench seat car...
Found it! It was on the right side of the steering column under the dash. E-Flasher was near the ashtray under the dash, if anyone else that has a 70 Road Runner runs into the same situation. I don't why Chrysler would change locations from a year earlier, but hell, they might be in different...
Thanks guys. I found the e-flasher on the right side of the steering column. I will look more for the T/S flasher tomorrow. I know I'll find it, was just wondering if they hid it behind the kick panel or something stupid like that. Not too easy looking up under the dash at my age, + the shifter...
1970 Road Runner, factory 383,4 speed car. We found the 4-way flasher but can't see a turn signal flasher anywhere. Where is the flasher for the turn signals located? I think all the Mopars that I've ever worked on have a flasher for each. Do these cars have a single flasher for both? We are...
I do have the radiator that came out of the car in my basement. The current owner is using an aftermarket aluminum rad. that has the upper hose outlet on the passenger side & is using that one. I thought the one that was in there was the one that came stock on the car. (It was my car 10 years...
