Got a few more pieces in and on.

Very cool ride.

Got crossbar, hinges, hood and the one headlight bezel in yesterday. I need to start on the patches for the floor pan now.

Initial is driver. Will be shooting expoy primer in the hidden areas as we put her back together. The hood is a make due unit till we get to where the right parts start mattering.

Had a successful trip to John's Salvage. Not a RR hood but got a 68-69 belveder/satelite hood for $175.00 + tax. Also got fuel filler neck $25.00, inside door handle $2.50 & working 2 door window regulator $45.00.

Ran out of daylight where I was working last night. Managed to tackthe radiator core support back together. Will weld it up and reinforce the lower portion. Before After.

The one's I bought do as well.

Got the steering wheel installed. Ordered the powersteering column to manual box adapter so will get the column in properly in a couple weeks.

That is part of why I was so angry the hood was stolen it matched.

Got back home, reinstalled lock rods and door handle (remote control) in the drivers side door. Since its not a #'s car this was the most inexpensive 15" steering wheel I could find. Special vicegrips on the column just arnt a good look. I then went to work on the frozen passenger side front...

Just a thought but if the suspension was unloaded when the adjustments were made and the suspension has not settled back out from driving a little ways it can look off.

Looks like one of the posts from this morning is waiting moderator approval. Just sad that it took close to a year to get the car out of the yard it was in.

So we now have a 69 383 short block out of a C body. Also in the mix 609 heads and an Edelbrock DP4B. $50.00 on the short block, $50.00 on the heads and $235.00 on the intake. Budget build.

Car comes with new quarters. Passenger side drop off is good but driver needs replacement or patch at the bottom. The seat has one of the split backs mia and the lower section is pretty bad but we will see. My oldest holding the tool case has a 67 Coronet and the youngest has a 63 Fairlane. I...
