Guys I'm going to have to sell the roadrunner. Don't really want to but I'm between a rock and a hard place so it is what it is.
VIN RM23H9G183144
Original 383 4 speed, now has a 440 6bbl, a dana rear end and an 18 spline 4 speed. Also original B5/white interior car. Car has the fender tag and I...
It's been a while since I've been on here but I have a 69 and had to replace the wiper motor. The car originally had a 2 speed and was changed to a 3 speed. When I took the old 3 speed off, I found that they didn't bother changing the crank arm and bushing. Anyway, heres the question:
What is...
The carbs are List 4790 with a date code of 2955 which should be October of 1975, 1985, or 1995 if I understand it right.
These carbs are correct for the 340 6 pack but will work on a big block.
Carburetors are in good working condition with a rebuild less than one year ago. I have them listed...
I'm not sure what it's called but I need the retainer that prevents the spring from coming through to the release handle. Mounts in the hole just behind the the handle for a 69 bird. Let me know if you have it or know where I can get it. Thanks
The outboard carbs that were on my car when I bought it are 340 carb (I have a 440) the list numbers are 4790 with a date code of 2955. If I understand it correctly, the 2955 would indicate 295th day of ? I am guessing it would be 1975 because the carbs still have the lead plugs in the throttle...
Ok, I thought I had my problem solved but it looks like I am going to need a new wiper motor after all. Does anyone have a good source for a reconditioned unit (69 roadrunner)? I can find 3 speed motors but having a hard time locating the correct year unit. I don't care about originality. Is...
Anybody done business with this guy? His site says he will tune 6 bbl carbs to the engine, while I'm sure more tuning would be involved, I'm curious if he is reliable.

69 Roadrunner, where are you guys mounting electric fuel pumps? I bought a carter pump and was under the car last night. The pump is supposed to be mounted at or below the bottom of the fuel tank. I don't see a good mounting location at or below.
A picture would be great.
I bought this new and literally had this on the car for 2 weeks when I decided to go with an FBO system so I don't need it. $75 bucks includes shipping. See attachment and PM me if interested.
I bought an FBO system so I don't need it anymore. It was working ok when I took it out but I make no promises. PM me if interested and make an offer. See attachments
Can anybody tell what the difference is between the 69-70 4144 center carb and the 71 4670? Jegs lists both but they are over $800 bucks, Summit has one for $553 but they dont have the 69-70, they only list the 71.
My car is a 69 but not an A-12 car so being perfestly original doesn't matter...
First, let me say I appreciate everybody that has taken the time to give advise to me on this site. It has proven to be an invaluable tool to diagnose problems so thanks!
Now to the problem: Engine has a slight hesitation at low throttle but runs like a scalded dog when you step on it. When I...
Looking for recomendations on plug wires. I don't race it but I do want a good spiral core wire and good fitment and not a foot too long. I run stock manifolds. Chime in please.
Thanks
Just bought a distributor and ignition box from 4secondsflat. This is a quote from their tech instructions:
"Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Classic Cars or nearly any performance application the Vacuum Can is connected to the CONSTANT Ma nifold Vacuum source. Doesn't matter what you read on the...
I've looked through the threads but still can't find an answer to my question so here goes:
Somebody swapped a 3 speed motor into the car before I got it but kept the 2 speed switch. The wipers are not working so I'm working on this blind. I picked up a 3 speed switch because I figure that...
