    Carry piece

Agreed, pocket carry is definitely not the way to go. I will be looking into an inside the waistband holster for the Shield 40 very soon. Fortunately the Shield and my 380 are striker fired semi-auto's so there is no trigger to worry about. I like the Trigicon and Meprolight sights and have been...

    Carry piece

Nice. W have to carry concealed here but a number of states up and down the I-75 corridor recognize FL CCW permit and vice versa. I just wear my cargo shorts and stash it in my pocket for now. I'll soon be acquiring a Galco inside the waistband holster for the Shield. The 380 goes easily in a...

Are all fly wheels the same ?

The '69 383 used an 11" flywhell while the 440 used a 10.5". They aren't the same. I know because back in '03 I purchased what I thought was the right flywheel for my 11" clutch. Guess what? I got a 10.5" flywheel (Centerforce billet steel SFI approved) and the 11" clutch did not bolt up...

    Roadrunner Dead... No Power...

Try replacing the Fusible link wire. This happened to me once. The wire fried and I had NO power. The wire attaches to the starter relay on the firewall and has a tab on it that says "fusible link" - if the original is still there.

    '69 Vert with a factory installed 440?

Never say never. Could have been originally built for a company exec. Lots of that stuff went on back then. Not supposed to be any 4 door Hemi 4 speed cars ever made back in the early-mid 60's yet I know of at least 2 and have heard there were as many as 6 produced. Not supposed to be any '72...

    Carry piece

Recently, for our anniversary, I got my wife a J frame S&W .38 Special +P 5 shot revolver. She wanted a wheel gun because she can't rack the slide on her .380 or her Ruger SR40. Nice little piece. I went to Shoot Straight today because they were having an End of Summer Sale and looked at the...

Is a WIW question appropriate on this site?

I'd hang 10k on the Dart easy... Back when I tried to sell my '71 Charger I asked 8k the first time and only got 2-3 calls. It didn't sell. Some months later I put it up for 10K and had all kiinds of interest. Sold it after 3 days. As weird as it seems sometimes you have to ask more or else...

Mancini had them. That's where I got mine and they are 3". Check with them and see if they still have them. Of course, they might be TTI pieces...

    Exhaust Tips...

Mancini Racing (www.manciniracing.com) has the "correct" oval shaped tips and hangers. That's where I got mine. One of my pet peeves is seeing rectangular Dodge tips on a Plymouth

    Carburetor...Stock or New ??

If you want to go new I might try a Thunder AVS 800 by Edelbrock. Very similar to the original AVS and just as tuneable. Of course, a good Holley 750 with vacuum secondaries is also a good choice. THere really isn't anything wrong with the carb you have - just not as tuneable as other choices.
