The 318 has an auto tranny on it right now (which can be taken off and put away). I haven't checked to see what kind it is. The RR has a 4spd which I would much rather keep on the car. So all I really need is a 318 bellhousing then? I have one question that springs to mind with this...
I've got a bored over high performance 318 that runs great and really no where to put it. I was just going to save it in case I ever found a nice Dart or Satellite to put it in. BUT - since the 383 is giving me headaches, I was curious if I could just drop the 318 into the RR until I get done...
Dang, I wish I had a big garage like I see so many of y'all with. I've got a 1.5 car garage crammed with 2 vehicles and car parts everywhere. Absolutely no space to be comfortable while working or organize anything.

I appreciate the advice, guys. I'm gonna leave the car sit for a while. It's been too nasty and cold in Memphis lately to want to be in the garage anyway, so that's a good deterrent for me I guess.
And I won't be taking anything out on the car...
