yes i bought one from classic and sent it back it did not fit right the parts had warps and twisted . so i waited and went to Carlisle and found one from a 69 runner yes $$ but when i got it home i looked up don hall he rebuilds the air grabbers and sent it to him and i was blown away how...

the best part of all of this is that my friend that painted it at his shop the name of the shop is ACME AUTO BODY so acme did catch of the runner :lol::lol:

it took me 5 and half years to build mine . i still have stuff to put on her like drip rail mlding there is a lot of single stage paint no clear coat and i dont want to chip it . my car has never been wet sanded or buffed . when i saw it come out of the booth i loved it just the way it was here...

for sure it's alot of work but like i have said in the story of building my road runner the best part of it all was meeting the people along the way . that worked on it with me . the people you meet trying to find parts trading parts to get parts you need . and at the end of it all at the start...

yes good eye me and my girlfriend was asked to clean out two housing and they where just throwing stuff out . like Waterford crystal the houses where beautiful they where down sizing so we got the stuff and going to have a yardsale soon and all the money go's to our local veterans to help them...

i am thinking about starting on the other garage walls but one of them is a spray booth . ill take a picture of the main garage and of the spray booth . i'm hoping that this stuff is for my retirement. heres just a little of the outside of the main garage the spray booth has the newport in it
