The boys in my neighborhood were cool with Road Runner.
But you were a looser if they found out you watched The Popeye Club.
I've tried to find a collection of all the old Road Runner cartoons .
But no good. All the collections seem to have a few old ones and then new ones.
Which don't even look...
My head hurts trying to noodle this out.
But my advice is to find what's "wrong".
I'm suspecting something in the rebuilt diff.
Maybe the thrust button?
I've never had this problem. (Which isn't saying a lot.)
The axles need the clearance to expand when hot.
It seems like trying to use green...
Were there not arguably muscle cars the did not ever come as a post?
I believe the distinction is between the "M" code and "S" coded cars.
Not the body type.
Linguistically the "or" could change the thought to a different matter.
A plain 1970 RM21 as opposed to an A12.
(It's a 1970 after all.)...
Small world.
That's a car I might likely buy if I wasn't already into one "albatross".
The perennial question.
Better to have matching numbers engine or matching body parts?
(Are those factory muffler hangars? IDK)
Factory parts sure fit better.
Not perfect in 1969.. But better.
I'm my experience rattle can paint is not hard enough.
Every time I've tried it you can mark it with your fingernail.
That's why I've stuck with 2K auto paint for surfaces like doors.
The only exception to that might be epoxy "appliance " paint.
I'm doing that right now.
Krylon seems better...
I would imagine they are??
As far as buying a set.
What do.the vendors say?
The post has to make a difference.
I used a thin piece of plastic to shoe horn the window up past the little fuzzy thing.
We will see if it takes a set and squeezes it down.
I may be able to move the glass but I've got...
I think you are considering the frame itself?
That pant is a lacquer and no longer produced by PPG.
Last I checked Instrument Specialties was selling small quantities of it.
They are not only pricey but I can't buy small quantities of paint because I always need more to fix screw ups.
I used...
Pulled the frame back out to remove the pad.
Wasn't happy with the consistency of the sheen.
Too flat due poor application.
It was the way I applied the dye.
I've used it before and have learned that to get an even and correct application you have to be careful and spray evenly one coat and let...
Ah ha!
I see why these don't last.
The window probably rips them off sometime in the life of the car.
That's even if they made it intact to the dealer.
I should have said "middle class " is a catch all .....
Why does the news always say the home prices are increasing?
Why not say the value of your dollar fell?
That would give away the game perhaps.
It lives.
Don't frighten the children.
(A nod to the season)
I think the prices may be sliding down on "these" more than lower priced cars proportionally speaking.
And that will always be the case.
We can divide the country into categories..
1. Lower people that can't pay the bills.
2. Middle income people that have some disposable income. (A somewhat...
Some more from my stash.
I think we have an "anchor:
All these are the same size and length
Curious. I may take time and clean it better.
Note. Check for correct nut placement on repo fenders before hanging.
I got it to work.
PITA
Reached the milestone of dash frame install.
Yeah!
Before I go further I'm freshening up the pads.
SEM .
"Satin" seems more like my other cars.
(They are undyed.)
Dash pad does have a sheen.
Less glare?
Should I use gloss?
Pictures for a general idea.
Never shows exactly.
Thanks.
In one picture the haunting specter of The Log of Damocles is seen hanging over the car.
"I'm not dead yet."
It's got a VIN and fender tag. (And interior?)
If that was a Hemi car, surely someone would buy it.
And pay "someone" else to start cutting/welding and build a new car around those two...
