I have a pair on the rear of my Road Runner. I had a local wheel repair shop widen them from a 15x6 pair called Weldcraft here in Michigan. It was also pretty cheap.
I just use an old quart of oil bottle for my Charger and on my Road Runner that sits in the battery tray. Easy to remove at shows.
Also have one mounted up on my Challenger that is more permanent.
I have used several 440 motorhome engines in the past. I got lucky none of them had the angle plug extra cooling heads. Just have to swap the motor mounts, pan and pick up tube to put it in a car chassis.
Super sleeper now. Built 383, 2 stage nitrous plate,, headers, 3-1/2" exhaust, built trans with shift kit, 10" 3200 converter, 4:88 gears with a spool, 35 spline axles, and 275 drag radials.
Very cool to save it. I save mine from the crusher. Best part, it was given to me for free. He couldn't believe anyone would want it. It must have been a parts car at one time. I am slapping it all back together and driving it as is.
I am always working on something. 3 kids all driving with their own vehicles now and 7 cars and 2 trucks of my own. Excessive I know. It just kind of happened.
On my Challenger the reverse light comes on in every gear except when in park? Any ideas why it would stay on in R,N,3,2,1??? For now I just removed the bulb.
Thanks. I do too. It's faster than it looks with a mild build 383, 2 stage nitrous plate, 3500 10" converter, spool with 4.88 gears and 275 drag radials.
Still my favorite wheel. I have them on my Red Charger currently but switch them back to Rallye wheels once in awhile. I swap wheels like woman with their shoes....
