That helps! #21 is Eb7 Jamaica blue as the fender tag states.
#22 Eb5 is close on that backend behind the bumper but someone dyed some of the interior B5 blue to black.
Which is no big deal,it’s not a numbers matching car…I can live with it!
Thanks! The Classic dealer I got it from called it Jamaica blue but to me it’s a dark blue metallic. Not perfect but then it is not a trailer queen either.
The 70 Roadrunner I have says on the actual fender tag for color:Eb7. I have heard some call this Jamaica Blue but all that I have seen has told me it’s a lot closer to a B5 and or Dark blue metallic.
Here’s a picture of what may have been an original color and what it is now on the trunk lid...
My 727torqueflite just had a service done on it and was told that in the near future a rebuild will be in order. That cost rolled into what all the 4spd conversion will cost and i'd be shelling out about 1k.but it may not be worth it still. The 4spd conversion is strictly a pure fun thing for...
Any of my fellow mopar brothers ever just replaced the rear sail panels L/R? Or have you just done the whole headliner with them as well? Is it a big job that requires more hands than i have?....Thanks!
There’s a fair share of encapsulated rust from the days, but the backend bumper area shows the most lack of attention.
This car was allegedly refurbished some 15 years ago,but one person’s refurbish is not necessarily a another’s. Don’t get me wrong it’s in very good condition. If I sent it to...
That’s been my thought since I got this car. I know they didn’t back in the day make um perfect, but a smack at the back in some 50 years…it could happen.
Anyway it’s not something I can’t compensate for. There is some messy stuff underneath at the back around the bumper attachment but it is all...
Kinda had that feeling myself. I have the HD springs (new) from Summit on the rear 6-drivers side/7-psgr side but i still have a lean to the drivers side rear. Adjusted the torsion bars some but ti did'nt take it out totally. The adjusters on the lower control arms are at different lengths and...
Never tried it but always wondered if on a leaf springed B-body if you could get any benefit to running a adjustable coilover shock on the rear or would it be too stiff and put undue stress on the body mount?...Ideas please and thanks!!
Hey Bob/Old angry white guy! You'll be thrilled to know that i took your expert advice and switched the vacumn line to the upper carb fitting and took it for a hard spin and No pinging from either location and starts hot. The manual that i have makes no mention of the upper fitting for the...
Thanxs Bob! Yeah looking back on the previous owner that had it in high elevation Colorado 6k. Taking that into consideration also. It’s all good runs like a bird should,a coyote will never catch me
Sorry for the confusion,I tried your suggestion’s and with those and everyone else’s this bird will survive me fiddling with it to get optimum performance…Bye for now!
I did not delete your suggestions and I do have a service manual.Just thought some of you know it alls on here would have ideas to try. So that I shall do…Thank you all…Good bye!!
Got back from phx.this morning and just put the timing light on the warm engine w/plugged vacuum line and the crude drawing says it all. Did not check the upper vacuum port on the carb. I heard it doesn’t kick in till you go off idle. The bottom is where this carbs vacuum line runs to the...
