Yeah it’s just getting clean time To focus. I have been on stupid international work travel lately and first couple months ahead are looking no better. Manila, Singapore, Brisbane and Aukland that I know of right now. Then when I get home have 3-4 days of jet lag each trip.
Your work looks good. I so want to get back at the assembly on mine. Have the other project in front of it and am making good progress on that. Think I’ll be done right as summer hits but then can’t touch mine much because of the desert heat.
Not my thing at all. I’m at SEMA and there is some of that here too. Did not come across any roadrunners and there are only a few mopar anything. For every car her there are 3 ford broncos though.
No funky screaming chicken hood decal on a formula firebird. This is a Rescue for a buddy of mine who had it in a shop for a long time. almost ready to start on interior and get it out of here.
So I have this other project car that also in an orphan bird. Factory A/C. Parts as expensive as the roadrunner stuff. Installing the new condenser after disassemble of the front endura bumper which cracked the new paint. That won’t be cheap to fix.
11.65-11.70. around 120MPH. Its a 6.0 LS. Built it long before everyone was doing LS into everything. Last time out the windshield trim blew off at the finish line.
This is great news. I was going to sell my bow tie car as the track was closing and a few times a year breaking things was the only fun I had with it.

Nice job, that looks good. Mine isn’t broken at all. A couple minor cracks but no missing material. I have an extra set of the outer pieces too. I had sent mine up to the guy in Ohio to get restored just before the pandemic…but he lost his crew and sent it all back to me. So I’ll have to...
I think 521 restorations sells the install hardware. I took mine off so long ago but don’t recall anything unusual. Center piece first then side pieces. Only one cable to open/close.
You said you restored yours…what did you do to it? Mine is in decent shape except may be a bit discolored...
