the original metallics were single stage paint, the code were done by ditzler , PPG reformulated the ditzler color codes in base coat clear coat , they match and look so much better you wont believe until you see it , I was never a fan of metallics in a single stage , I repainted mine original...
oh, I didn't get the sitting still part, my steering wheel has no vibration while not moving ,I have power steering , do you think something might be touching the steering box or do you have solid or worn motor mounts,
Check your tires when steel belts start moving it’s felt in the steering wheel if you ignore it your car can get tore up pretty bad when they decide to let go

Bought in swap meet area at a car show last year. Got sent home for six weeks during covid so I put every minute on the car did it all my self in the back yard
Convertibles have different reinforcements underneath in the rear area that you can’t see to keep the top of the doors from pinching because they don’t have a roof
Does anyone make them now last I heard they didn’t
It’s a serious repair you pretty much are starting from scratch
