The back window quest goes on.

This is an easy fix. First you take a factory glass and set it in place and mark where it hits. Second you take a cut off wheel and cut the quarters and roof skin to match the factory window. Then you repaint the affected areas. Dose that sound rite?

    Wanting to Change colors

My Hemi Roadrunner Is not the original color. I got a 40% discount when I bought it because of that. I wish it was the original color because dark green rules(!) but it looks so good in Omaha orange.

blank fender tag 1970 Roadrunner convertable

My buddy bought that car. Blank tags are found on cars as a second tag. Some people take them off and sell them and then other people buy them and put them on cars where they are missing. I think that’s the case here.

New to Group ! Never knew it existed

Welcome from SoCal. What a car and what a story. My parents had a 383 car and I tried to buy it off them when I was 12 (paper route money paid in full) but they said it was "too much car for a 16 year old". So they sold it to someone else.

What is oil pressure at idle

The general rule of thumb is 10psi per thousand RPM its at. Oil pressure is measured at the end of the oil passages, so even if you had 1 psi idling hot then you would have enough because you probably have 20 psi at the main and rod bearings. As long as it comes up to 50 or so at shift RPM you...

SOLD Project: RM23 1969 Road Runner

I totally understand where you are coming from. I spent the last 20 years with this monkey on my back. I finally finished it and I feel kinda dumb for how quick I finished it after I really committed to finishing it, 10 months total. We did everything ourselves except spray the paint. Maybe just...

    Valve train noise

Stock rockers will put .015 to .017 preload on the lifter. Thats with the stock .015" head gasket. Most aftermarket head gaskets are about .040" thick so you loose most of your preload. When the oil is cold it'll work well but when the oil gets warm it won't do so well. The conclusion is that...
