Russ,
I did try my rear window glass on my '70 RR this weekend. The glass is from ECS. To recall, I have replaced the roof skin, both quarters (factory style) and the Dutchman panel. So everything around the glass has been replaced. I have an install kit that has (4) rubber blocks and the black...
Wanting to confirm what three nuts to use to attach the drivers vent box to the cowl. The ones I have are the stamped metal “speed nuts”. Is that correct?
Thanks.
I am not quite to this point, but looking ahead at installing the wiring in the '70RR. Concerning the dash, do you install all of the gauges and wiring in the frame first before in gets bolted in? The pictures above of the routing for the wiring are really helpful. Thank you.
Yes indeed, thanks Mac! I just finished restoring the driver’s vent box and will finish the heater box in a week or two. I’ll post pics for that. Great help on this site for that!
I have seen in pictures that there were clips on the defrost hose at the heater box to keep it from slipping off. I also have scratch marks on my heater box that look similar. Anybody know where to get these?
Thanks!
Maybe the supplier for Ford's heater boxes was the same as Mopar at that time? And maybe one day a confused and hungover employee stamped the Mopar part with a Ford stamp?
Just wondering if anybody had a recommendations for what type of ink to use when stamping the radiator/heater box and cooling fan? I have the stamps, just not sure what to use?
Thank you.

Original moldings (Not Aftermarket) that have been professionally restored. This is a spare set that I had restored along with the other trim on the car. No scratches or dents. More pictures available on request.
I am asking $75 plus shipping for the set.
Thank you.

They used have pics of the different ones but have redone their website. NOt sure if they supply glass without date coding. They have tons of...
Oh boy. I "fit" my new glass before painting but didn't pay that much attention. Maybe I should go back and look a little more closely. I still have the original and is scratched up. Maybe I should compare the two now. My glass came from ECS but not sure that makes any difference.
