    you can sometimes see it from the inside of the trunk, of course it will read upside down.

    you never provided the other transmission number see above, or look at the tail section, should have a date could be on either side

    yes. RR would be easy to cheat on since vin is in the dash and that is removable and could be put in another car. That's why you need to look at radiator and trunk, if they are not present then its a good chance this car is using a donor body.

    yes, the first number you gave us should match the last 6 of your vin, if it doesn't then at some point the tranny was changed out. The last 6 are just the series number.

    transmission ID numbers are stamped into the left hand side of the case flange next to the oil pan, should look like this PK 2801543K 2337 0938
