    That’s the casting number. The first 8 digits are the part number, the 12 is the number of times the casting was revised. The 6-20-68 is the casting date of the block. It’s totally possible that the block can be cast that far in advance of your cars assembly date. on a flat of about 3” long...

    Plates

    Here in the Mitten, we can use same year plates, so that’s what I run on all of my old cars. It’s $35 for life, and I’ve never been pulled over for driving the car whenever I want. Of course I don’t daily them, but I’ll take em wherever I’m going if I can.

    What size trailer would a man need to haul his runner

    We routinely took my GTX to the Nationals in my brothers 20’ Pace trailer, not a problem with room to get around, and heavy duty enough to not worry about the haul. Pace Trailers also use the torsional axles, not the leaf spring style, and it makes for a much smoother pull, and ride for the car...

    All 70 for me. My Dad had a 70 when I was a kid, and that’s all I’ve wanted since then. Finally got my own a couple years ago, and it came through the same dealership as my Dads car. Cant ask for more than that!

    There is extra added stiffening inside the rocker on each side as well, double the thickness of the standard rocker for a roof car.

    I would add one. These cars are big and heavy, so cornering in them needs all the help it can get.
