Yes it was a GTX option The car came out of N. Car. and I wasn't able to get much info. But like you I like it so I kept it on It's not a numbers car anyway. So no harm. It is a true 69 RR by the vin number.

Most every thing is a hard top at that temp. LOL

I like your idea of the top down on the R/T. But it well have to wait until it warms up a little. When I went to my shop this morning the temp. was reading -7.

I had all the same as you with the mystery car. I tried everything. I finally solved the problem by installing a "Wizard" radiator I drove 6 hrs. to Carlisle and 5 to Inlet with no problems
