Has anyone put rear mud flaps on their car. I am getting some chips on the lower fender and wheel opening on the rear quarter panel. If you have then advice would be appreciated on the where you bought them. I don't think I need much of one just enough to stop rocks and grave from chipping off...
Too good to be true it probably is. I did find stuff for my car at different places. Online and by driving to different places. It was the roll of the dice no matter what I did. So, buyer beware is all I can say.
So now have taken the ballast resistor and replaced the coil in it with solid wire. Easy enough to remove the resistor and solider a wire in there. Then filled it back with tile grout. Wanted to have it on the fire wall as it was there to make it look and keep my wiring the same. It is running...
Ok found out another coil bit the dust. LOL. Tow fee plus the coil ouch. Just glad it was something that simple. It Was an EDB coil and going to put one in the trunk with some tools. She runs grate again. Keeping the receipt in the glove box and see how long this one last. Think it is getting...
It really makes you mad when we do so much to these cars and drive for quite a while. Then bam it goes crazy. Have replaced one coil before and now going to get another one tomorrow. It fired up but acts like it is out of time or shakes violently then dies. Won't run long. It has been running...
Out for a cruse yesterday and while driving it started to spit and sputter then shut off. Could pump the pedal and it fires then dies. New Holley carb and showing fuel in the site glass on the bowl. Coil not that old and wonder if it may be the ECU box. I am lost. Had to have it towed home...

Thanks for the input. Seems like they are doing a good job for me. Just having to get the right jet combo for the Holley Brawler and get the motor dialed in.
Also entertained buying a 69 charger. But don't think I have it in me to restore another car. Had a charger brand new in 73 and enjoyed it. But it is all I can do to keep my runner going at this time. Trying to find parts to restore it was a challenge. Searching the web for hours and finding...
Thanks Rose. Even all the years I have worked on car-bikes-trucks and other combustible engines we sometimes chase a problem that it becomes something so simple we miss it. LOL. After having a 906 head developed a crack between5 and 7 exhaust ports and leaking fluid out. Replaced the heads with...
