- Hi I am Larry from NE Ohio. I purchased a brand new 1971 Roadrunner direct from the factory and still have it today. I just recently had a fresh coat of base/clear coat paint put on it along with an air grabber hood. The engine is a 383 with a mid-range cam and cut heads to get the 69-70 compression ratio. I added a Holley 780 dual pumper carb and it runs pretty good. No plans to race it just like driving it once again and going to a few shows in the area.
