Yes, low speed on the buffer, (1000 or lower) and stay away from the edges of the clear.
You can always go back and do the edges by hand with a cloth pad then, a foam pad.
Good luck!
Looks like a great show. For once I was glad there was no blurry pics, thanks.
Oh and yeah, F8 decal way too high - B3 too low and close to the badge but, I'm sure you knew that.:smile-new:
Yep George is right. Fuse box, then through the dimmer, then to the round connector on the dash circuit board (very top pin). That is your 12 volts for the lamps. The ammeter or bypassing it would have nothing to do with the dash lamps. Look at pages 8-129 and 8-128 in the service manual.
ps...
I not very good at explaining things but, I'll try. You really have to pull that dimmer switch to test it. Granted you could just unplug the connectors to it and test it in place but, a real pain. Hey it probably has to be cleaned anyway. Dome switch jiggling tells me that. O.K. get a cheap...

There is a long list of famous draft dodgers that were our age, George. No matter which side of the political fence your on. From Bill Clinton to Pat Buchanan. What kills me is when these guys act like great patriots now. Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) comes to mind. Whenever I encounter someone who...
When I was at Luke AFB in Phoenix in the 70s, Gila Bend used to be the gun range for the f-15s. Maybe we should evacuate all the legal citizens and expand that gun range a little.
Oh O.K. God you would have to think black. Never seen body plugs like that in color but, you seem to have a couple on the Charger. Maybe installed before the door was sprayed but, that would be pretty easy to tell.
I have pondered this myself. I am pretty much convinced the original plugs on my RR were white. Being white, they would get brittle and crack in the sun so replacing them from a hardware store or even a dealer, you would get black. The color could have varied also from where the car was built...
