- I am a retired 33 year FireFighter looking for a project so I just
purchased a 1969 393 Road Runner, the car has a mint body but needs some attention to the interior. The car came from Texas in 1992 and sat in a barn until four week ago, the 383 is in pieces but under the hood was a 1970 440 Six Pak complete from intake to pan.
The engine is standard bore with all the right date codes for the intake carbs. heads ect. The deal came with a ton of extra parts such as doors, hoods, trunk lid, dash bad, 150 mph speedo and much more. My first job is to rebuild the 383 and the 440 then dive into the car, I will be asking for some help and will appreciate all I get.
