Introduce Yourself
hello all... Im new to Mopar. I have had a Convertible 65' Chvelle since the 90's, I'm the 3rd owner. I realized the car I bought to have a fun project, and have driven every year a 500-2000 mi a year...is worth not only more then I paid.. but the new over the years are not worth hardly anything. Long story, after an exhausting career I find out I have an incurable disease that may take my driving privileges away... so now I am out to have fun and drive all the cars I liked over the years. Road Runners are def on that bucket list. I did a Jeep, gave my wife a restored '46 Ford, I have a 66' Mustang 289 4bl. Now its time to the ditch the Mustang for me new "birth year" Vitamin C, Codes matching 383 engine and trans paint and even white vinyl top. I haven't looked into it much, just getting to looking at codes to triple check they match. It seems really nice.. but about all I've done is move it off the carrier and back up into garage. Looks like it may be original paint because of some pitting that also matches bumper. I told my wife we are going that really cool Spring Green.. unless it's a real Vitamin C. and the K2 seems to confirm along with the Spring Options PKG? ... Just curious what you all think? one issue I found, no brake lights or back lights at all.. headlights work. Im wondering if the cables we cut under somewhere.. checked fuses..they look ok...but I have yet to test the juice and see if its flowing. White Vinyl seats and Top are fantastic.. dash is ahhh.
thanks for any and all input. You all have already helped, just reading past posts.
Best,
Bobby Lee
