- My Road Runner was the first car I owned, even before I was old enough to drive it. When I bought it, it had been wrecked (minor front end damage). I bought it in 1976 from a police impound yard for $265 and still own it today, 42 years later. It is an E63 (383) D32 (automatic) numbers matching. For obvious reasons it has been repainted a couple of times over the years and at some point I hope to do a full restoration back to original. I have been working on cars since I was a teen because I could not afford to pay someone else to do it for me. I was just decoding my fender tag and was searching for the V7X code that led me to this site. I'm interested in learning more so I'm registering to help others and to read more from others.
