Currently own, not including my plow truck, or my daily driver Ram truck. Also not included are about 100 parts cars I’ve had come through my possession over the past decade or so.
Here is my 70, original paint, no body damage. The gaps are very loose on this car, the drivers door is over 1/4”, maybe more like 3/8”. Doors open and close just like they should.
3,730 1971 4 speed Roadrunners overall. You will not find a breakdown of which car came with the myriad of colors and options, the figures just don’t exist. Chrysler didn’t keep track of how many cars came with a particular option, so you would have to go strictly by process of elimination. How...
For me, there is only one car I really want anymore, my dads old 440/6 convertible 70. It was simply the most beautiful car I’ve ever seen, and it was an unholy beast of a car. It was special ordered through the wife of a Chrysler exec, who “followed” it down the line. Say what you will, but it...
I had a conversation with a very knowledgeable A12 lover, and to my amazement he revealed that even A12 automatic cars had an 8 3/4”, whereas I thought they all came with Dana’s. You learn something new every day I guess.

That’s where I disagree with you fellas, it’s a mostly original, matching numbers V code 70 convertible, with auto trans. 1 of 14, mostly original, and the only burnt orange one made, that’s $100k territory easily. And, it already sold, so we can only discuss the past anyway!
Not that this would make it much better, but the factory actually used auto trans fluid in the cars that were destined for colder climates, to smooth out the shifts. Racers from back in the day would also run ATF for ease of shifting. And as a matter of reference, when I opened the gearbox on my...
I’ll be freeing up a couple of vehicles from my buddies dads estate full of cars. Trapped in pergatory for decades, it’s time to clean out the property and sell sell sell everything.
I guess my question to you would be…..are you looking for the feeling of driving a modern car, but having the looks of a classic? The modern suspension upgrades are fine if you plan on going around corners in a spirited manner, but it loses the feel of driving a classic. So, to that end, if you...
I’m working my way through 30 years of it being dormant, the price will depend on a number of things, such as whether I can get it to turn over and run, and such the like.
